A bit of history

El Timao won the 2012 Libertadores unbeaten, in a final against Boca, and they are known as the 'Time do Povo'. Their supporters, the Fiel, with the Gaviões da Fiel (1969), are Brazil's second biggest behind Flamengo.

Fun fact

Their home, the Neo Química Arena in Itaquera, opened in 2014 and hosted the opening match of that year's World Cup. 49,205 Coringão fans.
